Sarah E. Morrison

Areas of practice

Sarah E. Morrison practices in the area of criminal defense, defending adults and minors in Boulder County, the greater Denver Metro area, and throughout the state of Colorado against all manner of criminal charges, with an emphasis on serious felony accusations. 

Prior to joining Garlin Driscoll Howard, Ms. Morrison was an attorney with the Kansas Appellate Defender Office from October 2006 through June 2008.  In that capacity, Ms. Morrison submitted successful legal arguments to both the Kansas Court of Appeals and the Kansas Supreme Court.  Several of those resulting decisions have been published in the Kansas Reporter. 

Education

Ms. Morrison received her Juris Doctorate from the University of Kansas School of Law in 2006.  She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Bachelor of Arts in French from the University of Kansas. 

Bar and Professional Activities

Ms. Morrison was admitted to the Kansas Bar in September 2006 and has been a licensed member of the Colorado Bar since May 2008. Professional affiliations include the American Bar Association, the Colorado Criminal Defense Bar, the Colorado Bar Association, the Boulder County Bar Association, and the Kansas Bar Association.
